    Xbox one controller recalibration issues


    I'm trying to recalibrate my xbox one controller through the accessories app, but there isnt a recalibrate option and I need to recalibrate my controller and I don't have a pc to fix the issue.

    Please help.

    I understand that you are experiencing issues recalibrating your Xbox one controller.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    To set your expectations properly, the Xbox Accessories app on the console doesn't currently offer a recalibration option for controllers. You need to use a PC to access the calibration tool.

    If you are using the controller on an Xbox, you can perform these steps instead:

    Please make sure that your Xbox console and controller firmware are up to date.

    And then restart the controller by holding down the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds until it turns off, then press and hold it again to turn it back on.

    You do have the option to reset your controller to factory defaults through the console's settings. To do this, go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Controller, and select "Reset".

    To open the Xbox Accessories app on your console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, then under Profile & system, select Settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets.

    Before you recalibrate your controller, check to see if there’s a firmware update available for your controller. If there is, update your controller before you recalibrate.

    Select Recalibration options.

    Select the specific thumbstick you want to recalibrate (left or right).

    Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the recalibration.
