Xbox one controller quality

XBOX One controller is better in every way except quality.

its obvious Microsoft Xbox ,continues to want to make there products have short shelf lives should I say? my Xbox one and 360 always stays on for days at a time, cuz I have found out that issues come from quick off to on cycles and vice versa. I assume the
company takes the otherwise cheap components used to manufacture there products so they maximize profit and so they can compete with Asian console Wars. its obvious Microsoft try's to squeeze every extra dollar out of you even after they sell you their console
and games you would think after making investment of this kind the focus should be on dependable reliable accessories and allow consumers of there products to actually be able to control the level of their own experience. Some people coming from PC to console
are feeling misled in the fact of processor speeds and graphics to lack a variety its like first class to coach ,but its hard to imagine game developers even wanting to create games for systems that will restricts that games experience to its consumer. I for
one loved cheat codes and being able to discover the cheats and codes usually brings new life to game you've mastered, but when you put your time and money into all the extra and add on accessories it adds up and the disappointment a new uninformed and new
buyer will feel when they drop all that money on Xbox Console just to get home with game that says it requires internet access and 9.99 a month subscription and possibly other accessories to fully enjoy something it has to be quick and responsive and keep
up with ones expectations as far as I'm concerned buying Games at Walmart is waste of time and for younger generations without a credit card to buy from xbox live kind of says something about the Microsoft company that we all know have been accused of corruption
and taking its consumers in the direction they feel will make them the only option for certain products like Windows OS to Xbox live and locking out other brands and Companies who pay them for a product and have them say well under some agreement that you
make from the first time you turn on or connect your Xbox products and sign in to Your account and even your gamer Tag they own YOU for years to come with any purchase cuz they don't believe in backwards compatibility like they want you to think! otherwise
why should anyone have to buy different versions of the same game! I for one am Loyal to Xbox but my alternative would mean investing $1000s more money into another brand and have to start from scratch ! if they want see a boost in accessories sales to each
xbox one owner rather then adding new versions and special edition consoles , I for one would rather see more hardware upgrades and less software updates that can sometimes ruin the experience of gaming because they take so long and the result seems to slow
and maybe even ruin your system all together!

And according to user agreement just using your console as anything else is restricted I put a sticker that came on the console from the store and eventually moved it they said I tampered or tried to modify it .I'm not talking the holographic one that says
Microsoft but the one that's says dvd,blue ray and hdmi but had to agree that I wouldn't draw up a mass lawsuit against them before I could use xzbox live! which they know once people agree to their terms they don't care about your rights as a consumer and
sometimes they refuse to honor there warranty cus you violate a total different agreement for whatever its worth if you've not yet invested in xbox one and trying to decide id go to those other guys and get the 4! but ive got years invested in this companys
games apps and accessories I cant throw all that away it be to large of price so I'm stuck being coned and forced into doing things I don't feel good about! so yeah step it up Microsoft you have a fan base trying hard to remain loyal as you restrict and prevent
us from fully enjoying our investments in your console! this is my 8th xbox console in 8 years 3 of which still work and other 5 need repaired after less then few years of use!

I have noticed the same thing happing to my two remotes the Xbox 360 controller is way more stronger and durable than the Xbox one remote I have two controllers and both are broken within one year I'm have tempted to get a PlayStation and sell my xbox because
I'm already having problems with it and mines not even a year old

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums. As to the performance of the Xbox One controllers, sometimes when you're experiencing issues with them you can check to make sure that the firmware of the controllers is up to date as this is usually what's happening
if their response time is becoming latent or vanishing altogether.

Update your Xbox One Controller

I recommend trying to check the firmware for the controllers to see if an update is available and, if so, once updated see if their performance changes any. Additionally, you may wish to further troubleshoot using our Xbox
One Wireless Controller Solution to see if there are alternate solutions to get them back in order.
