    Xbox one controller problem with range


    Hi Guys

    I have few controllers for my xbox one and one of hem have problem with poor range. Controller is connecting with console when is in front of console if I take him away for 20cm it start blinking.

    Other controllers work fine. I guess its hardware problem, maybe some of you know how to fix it. I know how to solder so it's not problem. Controller have actual firmware.

    I had this problem and it turned out the connector for the bluetooth antenna had popped off inside the controller. Plugged it back in and all was good after this.

    As other controller can connect to your console without any trouble, it only means that you got a faulty controller.

    This cases do happens, but rarely.

    It might be "passive interference" that causes your controller to disconnect, if you move even so slightly as a few centimeters.

    Depending on the material used to build the house or your room with the console, metal material might cause your controller signal to be reflected, and overlapping waves from the reflection might cancel out the signal in certain spots.

    Spotty connectivity could be a result of batteries that are dying. That said it could be a result of faulty hardware. I would say grab your receipt and return it to the store.
