xbox one controller play battery pack pc question

Hi Robert,

Are you using the controller on an Xbox One console or on PC?

The LED light on the Play and Charge kit cable will glow orange indicating the battery is charging and then a white light to indicate the battery is fully charged. If the LED is not glowing at all, then this indicates that there is no battery pack to charge.

Take out the rechargeable battery and insert it again in the correct position. If the LED is not glowing orange and the battery is in the correct position, then the battery is not being detected by the controller or the battery is faulty and cannot be recharged.

To test the cable, remove the battery pack and try using the controller in a wired format. If then controller works without the battery pack and just the cable, then the cable is fine. If the controller works without a problem using standard disposable batteries
then the battery pack is the issue.

Try these tests out and let us know the results!

I can say that this problem varies based off your bluetooth card. I had a cheaper bluetooth adaptor for my pc pnd constabtly it would disconnect and id have to go through ny devices to forget it and re connect it, but after upgrading my adaptor i didnt
have that problem again

yeah I think that explains it pretty well it's frustrating because every time I charge my controller I have to resync it should automatically pick it back up

Bluetooth troubleshooting only fits when I'm connecting for the first time which is fine, i need to reconnect that it won't but there's no option in your Bluetooth troubleshoot guide for that, and yes my OS is up-to-date and so are all my drivers
