    So this is a strange one.

    I'd been having some issues with my xbox one controllers recently having issues like delayed inputs, buttons not responding, continued drift after releasing a joystick, that kind of thing. I'd had these issues in the past, and securing the batteries more
    securely in the controller fixed the issue. However, securing the batteries didn't seem to be helping anymore. I attached my controllers to my PC and used the accessory software to upgrade to the latest firmware. This made the issue even worse.

    I spent hours looking at fixes and trying them. I made sure under task manager that XboxGipSvc was activated. I uninstalled and reinstalled the controllers, my bluetooth, everything I could find I tried.

    I use an HDMI cable to connect my PC to my TV (samsung, in case it matters). I got tired of plugging in the cable every time to test the controller, so I started testing just on my regular PC screen. Running games on my PC monitor, the controller works
    fine. Went hours with no problem. Plugged it back into the TV via HDMI cable, and the controller started going all over the place, not responding correctly, and acting crazy again. Unplugged it, tried it on PC monitor again, everything is fine.

    I don't understand how this could cause a problem. The cable just runs sound and video, and the bluetooth dongle is not related to the display in any that i know of. Does anyone have ANY idea why an Xbox one controller would not work with a TV connected
    to a PC via HDMI?

    When a cord is connected to the Xbox One controller it turns off the wireless function to work as a wired controller. Because of this the suggestion of using a USB wall charger
    WILL NOT work.

    The only way that you can use your Xbox One Controller on a W10 PC and play Xbox whilst charging the controller at the same time is to stream the game to your PC with the Xbox App if your PC meets the minimum requirements for it. If you don't want to do
    this then the only thing to do is just connect a USB directly from your Xbox to your controller

    So how are we meant to use speakers with the Xbox One?

    On a related note. Does anyone know if there's a way to get Turtle Beach PX3 connected to my tv or xbox one? On the transmitter box there's only options for ps3, xbox 360 and pc. Do you think connecting it directly to the TV in pc mode would work? cheers.

    Hello,

    There isn't a specific adaptor for the Series X/S controllers for PC. The current adaptor works just fine with these newer controllers, however it is now in very short supply. There are third party ones available that do the same thing.

    The Xbox 360 wireless controllers use a different WIFI protocol, they need their own Xbox 360 wireless Gaming Receiver.

    Xbox One and Series X/S controllers can be connected to PC via Bluetooth, but headsets will only work with the Xbox One adaptor (or a third party version), they won't work when the controller is connected via BT

    Xbox Bluetooth Controller as well headset not being recognized

    the controller supports bluetooth connection to pc and mobile devices but does not support audio over bluetooth in any way shape or form (does support audio passthrough when wired to pc)

    the headset should work though when the controller is wirelessly connected to the xbox one.

    have you resynced the controller to the xbox one.
