    My xbox one controller doesn't seem properly identified on windows 10, it says manufacturer unknown and is only specified as an unknown controller.

    It not a third-party controller.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Nevertheless, since it is a third-party device, have you tried contacting the controller's producer?

    Hello Ben,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue with being able to connect your Xbox One wireless controller to your Windows 10 PC as it is not recognized as a device.

    Our suggestion here, please review our How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC
    support article which has the various processes for setting this up, even containing notes in regards to why the controller might be recognized on the PC.

    have you tried another USB port
    Tried many different ones on 3 different PC s still the same, it does tell me when i troubleshoot that the xbox controller is and older device and might not work with usb 3.0
