XBox One Controller on W10 PC

How do I update the XBox One Controller to use it with the Wireless Adapter for Windows?

Yesterday I contacted the support to ask if its possible to update the Xbox One Controller without a Xbox One, he said it would be possible.But now I cant connect the controller to the Wireless Adapter

When streaming your Xbox One to your W10 PC you can just connect your controller to your PC and play like this. W10 should have the controller drivers ready to go already, just connect your controller via a USB cable or via Bluetooth (Bluetooth is only available

cant get wireless adaptor working on win 10

Same problem for me ... impossible to install any driver for this adapter which is specially for W10 !!!!

So my xbox one controller can't be connected to my PC (with W10 Pro installed and updated )

 

I have the same problem... Maybe you can tell me, if you have any advice.

 

Firmware updates will be possible through this app for Windows 10:
www.microsoft.com/.../9nblggh30xj3. It's a bit buggy at the moment though.

 

After trying to work out a solution with 3 supporters the 4rd told me that the last option would be to reset windows (in addition I deleted the data too). It didnt solved the problem...and this W10 app does nothing except showing a picture of the controller

Today I will contact the support the 5th time :/

This App is only for updating the firmware of your controller, not the drivers for your PC. If you haven't yet and can do so, please connect your controller to an Xbox One so that it can get the latest updates. Let us know if these work for you!
