    Xbox One controller on PC randomly becomes unresponsive during gaming (bluetooth)


    So I just bought this new controller, put in new batteries, connected it via bluetooth, started up Monster Hunter World and everything worked fine for 5 minutes and then the controller would randomly become unresponsive. The camera would keep moving on its
    own, so would my character. Then after a few seconds its fine again.

    You know those old controller glitches on consoles where your character won't stop moving in a certain direction until you replug the controller? Yeah, its like that but happening every 30 seconds.

    I also have this same issue with a friend's xbox one controller connecting to my PC via bluetooth. so I doubt its the controller itself and I also doubt that it needs to be updated since that controller was most likely fully up to date but still suffering
    from this issue. I also reinstalled all related drivers and nothing has changed.

    Anyone know how to go about fixing this? I'm not using a dongle, the bluetooth adapter is built into the laptop and works fine with other bluetooth devices

    No error message the controller does not turn off, just randomly becomes unresponsive.

    This is an odd one, my controllers have been disconnecting recently as well but for never more than a few seconds at a time, and maybe only once during excessive use. For it to randomly become unresponsive for longer periods makes me believe it may be
    a hardware issue?

    My Xbox One controller which is connected via Bluetooth is sometimes unresponsive in Forza Horizon 4 but opens the Xbox on Windows menu when I press the Xbox button. I have tried rebooting my PC and made sure all my drivers are up to date.
    I have also troubleshooted the Bluetooth on my PC and updated the controller.
    I would never use bluetooth controllers I was on forza today it works for me maybe it's your controller

    xbox elite controller series one is broken...AGAIN.

    The little buttons on the back that slide up and down to control how far down the triggers can go have both fallen down inside the controller, the joystick has become unresponsive, and it keeps disconnecting from the xbox during play.
