    Xbox One controller not working via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC


    I have been using an Xbox One controller on my Windows 10 PC for a few months now, with no issues connecting via my TPLink USB Bluetooth Dongle (model UB400). I let my nephew borrow it to use on his Xbox One, and now it's not working correctly on my PC - it's listed under devices as an Xbox Wireless Controller, but the Xbox Accessories App only shows it when it's connected via USB cable, and it doesn't work in any of my games. I've tried re-pairing, rebooting, removing the Bluetooth dongle. Suggestions?

    Sadly, using the Xbox One controllers on PC via Bluetooth has been met with some issues. Bluetooth, while it works is spotty.

    Have you tried to disable Bluetooth in Windows 10, and then turning it back on? I've had this issue in the past and once I've done this, I was able to use my controller again. Give that a try. Also, if I may recommend that you see about picking up the Windows
    10 Xbox One wireless adapter. I say this I use this instead of Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PCs. That way I can use my Xbox One Elite controller nad no encounter the Bluetooth issues that have been reported.

    As Geth mentioned, Bluetooth connection to a Windows 10 device will work just fine for Xbox One controllers, depending on the model of the controller. Certain older Xbox One controllers do not support Bluetooth connections.

    Yes, I'm trying to connect my controller via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC (It worked before yesterday). When I connect my controller via USB Cable it works fine.

    The XBox Button flashing slowly when it's turn on. When I press the sync button to connect via Bluetooth, the XBox Button flashes for 1 second and the controller turn off.
