Xbox One Controller not updating via XBOX Accessories app

Discus and support Xbox One Controller not updating via XBOX Accessories app in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have in the XBOX Accessories application in the line Firmware Version 5.13.3143.0.     Xbox One Controller not updating via XBOX Accessories app


    I have in the XBOX Accessories application in the line Firmware Version 5.13.3143.0. I also have the "update now" button active, but the gamepad does not want to update, the progress bar gets stuck at 0%, after which the gamepad just goes to sleep and turns off, the XBOX button on the gamepad just lights up, does not blink. And then an error pops up.

    That is, the controller does not react at all to an update via Xbox Accessories. What should I do? Is this a warranty case?

    The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 has the newest driver (there's no firmware update in Xbox Accessories app) and the Xbox Series controller has the newest firmware (updated via Xbox Accessories app). Didn't help.

    Have you tried to update the controller with this problem with the Xbox Accessories app? Do this via USB.

    What happens if you start up the Xbox Accessory app first, and then plug in your Xbox One Controller via USB? If you're able to connect with the steps there, try updating your controller with the steps over on

    You shouldn't need to click the connect button on the controller, just plugging it in via USB should be enough to recognize it by the computer and be able to update through the Accessories app.
