    Xbox one controller jumping on home menus


    Hi guys. Today in a fit of rage I smashed my Xbox controller on the floor. It has a piece of plastic bouncing around inside. On the home menus like the store etc the sticks and d pad jump about 1 or 2 more clicks upwards and won't let me move it. I then
    found that the buttons were pressing twice when I pressed once. So I looked online and it said to try it on a game. I somehow managed to get onto fallout 4 and the controller was working completely fine! I need to find a fix for this as it's my dad's controller.
    Any fixes/ideas/help?

    Covert Forces controller d-pad problems

    I also have a problem with this controller. In my case the home button dose not work properly. It will turn on the console and turn off the controller when held down but that is all. The home button dose not take me home or poll up any menus.

    Just got XBOX ONE...First Impressions...

    (Vaynel)...My HALO edition doesn't have Kinect...so I'm not sure which way is better to navigate the menus.

    Note: I had Kinect for XBOX 360...but have no plans on getting it for XBOX ONE. Just not into jumping around and waving my hands to play games anymore.

    Sorry to hear it. However, discussion of self repair is not allowed on the forums. At this point your best bet is to see if a repair of the controller can be made (if within 90 day warranty) or purchase a new one.

    Just to clarify he / she is press the Xbox home button to join or the View and menu button.

    If they are pressing the Home button to join then it'll bring you to the xbox one home. Please make sure that they press the View and menu button simultaneously to open the Xbox guide menu / Accept invitations.
