Xbox one controller is not connecting and not installing the drivers even with new cabel.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand your controller will not connect to your PC any longer. We recommend going through the guide for

connect wireless controller to PC. The guide has many troubleshooting links within. Have you got a new controller, and it possibly not Bluetooth?

. The problem is that my xbox one says "there is no controller via USB. Control that the USB cabel is in the console and the controller, then try again."

But there is a usb cabel in the console and the controller! I've tried different usb cabel.

The cabel works, but only when it comes to charging the battery. Nothing else.

If Windows doesn’t install the driver automatically, you can update the driver manually via Device Manager. Follow
these steps:

1) On your keyboard, press
Win+R(Windows logo key and R key) at the same time to invoke the run box.

2) Type
devmgmt.mscand press
Enteron your keyboard.

3) Expand the branch
Microsoft Xbox One Controller.

4) Right-click on the expanded Microsoft Xbox One Controller and select
Update driver
(On lower Windows 10 versions, select
Update Driver Software).

5) Click
Search automatically for updated driver software. Then Windows will install
the new driver for the device.

6) Check to see if you can use the Xbox One Controller properly.

I cant configure the Xbox controller in the app becuase it says: this controller is connected via Bluetooth. Connect it with a USB-cabel if you want to configure it.
