Xbox One Controller in Windows 10 problem.

Hello, I just bought a Xbox One Controller to play with it in my pc.

All is good but when I play Rocket League only with Rocket League the Controller doesn't work.

I revised the drivers and all are updated but with other games the controller works.

Xbox One Elite controller not working anymore after (failed?) Xbox Accessories firmware upgrade

Have same problem with "Xbox one controller for windows 10". Buy it, put in usb port, update from "Xbox accessories" and controller does not working.

Same problem here with xbox one controller on windows 10. New controller and tried to do firmware update over the Xbox assecorie app. Now I'm here...

 

Are you streaming to your Xbox One console to play Rocket League?

I had a similar issue playing Assassins Creed 4 using the Xbox App on my Windows PC. After reading a few different Reddit articles I was able to solve the issue with the following steps.

First make sure you have installed the program Xbox Accessories. It wasn't installed on my PC, you can get it for free from the Microsoft Store under the Windows menu.

I found the only way to get the controller to work within a game was use the following steps.

1. Once in the game I had to push the Xbox button to get back to the Xbox home page.
2. From the Xbox home page I selected the game I was playing then hit the option button on my controller, it's the one just below the Xbox button to the right has 3 lines on it, then selected quit.
3. After that I restarted the game and the controller worked fine.

One other thing I found that once I was done playing I had to remove the control under the Control Panel settings in Windows before you unplug it from your computer or your controller freaks out.

1. Go under your Control Panel
2. Select View Devices & Printers
3. Right click on Control and select remove.
