    I know this is stupid but when i connect an XBOX One controller on my Windows 10 (Wired) the controller name is just "Controller" and not "XBOX One Controller for Windows". I just wanted to know if this is normal or not.

    Update preview xbox one

    Good morning,

    it seems that I.m registered to the update preview program, and I just can't quit.

    after receiving the October update, I'm having problems with my stereo headset. The volume has turned down and sounds aren't clear.

    I've tried the headset with PC and tablet and it works fine, but it doesn't seem to do the same on the xbox one.

    i've also noticed that my controllers name has strange characters.

    OS VERSION: 6.2.11624.0(xb_rel_1410.140910-2200) fre

    Hello, I believe that it is perfectly normal, it might just be that the naming semantics differ from the Xbox One and Windows 10 platform. The good thing is your controller is able to connect to both without problems XBOX One controller has a strange name :)

    I found this strange, Xbox series X/S controllers has the same 3.5mm jack connector as the Xbox one controllers

    Why headphones do you have?
    Did you tried using a completely different headset to see if something similar happens?
    Or if you have another Xbox Series X/S controllers please try the headphones there

    Hi Pedro PhantomFernandez,

    I believe the Xbox One S, All Digital and the One X all come with the
    Xbox Wireless Controller     that has Bluetooth. The original Xbox One controller didn’t have this and there is a difference between the two. Don’t think it has a specific name though and the new controller can be identified by looking to see if it has bluetooth
    or not.
