Xbox One Controller for windows triggers.

I have an issue with my Xbox one controllers on windows 10. I have recently updated my desktop from windows 8.1 to windows 10. Since then my controller stopped working, i thought i had fixed this by updating the driver for the bluetooth receiver. But for
some reason even though the updated driver seemed to work, my triggers do not power fully. What i mean by this is that when i, for example, play rocket league and press hard on the trigger, my car barely starts driving. Then when i press the W key on the keyboard
it starts to drive way faster as it should.

Is there any updated driver that it does not find automatically that fixes this issue?

Do the triggers work when you test them in Windows?

In Windows 8.1 search for your controllers by typing in USB in the search box. Select 'Set up USB Game Controllers'. In the next window, click on the 'Properties' button. Pressing the triggers should show the Z Axis going up and down - depending on what trigger
is pressed. If the Z Axis does not move, there is something wrong with your controller.

Whether the triggers will work in your game, depends on whether the game you are playing supports the triggers or not. Games that support the Xbox 360 and Xbox One controller natively will support the triggers, other games may not.

The regular xbox one controller works, even the trigger buttons but the Mad Catz Fight Stick triggers do not.

I dont really understand why the game pad works and the fight stick doesn't, there both technically the same controller with the same buttons except one that fits in your palm and the other is 4 times the size and sits on your table.

They both work on the xbox one, so with the controller drivers installed under windows it should be the same.

Question is, if the windows 10 driver for the Xbox One controller supports impulse trigger rumble in the first place? Can you confirm that it does?

If you say its purely a developer choice, that means there should be a way to "test" the impulse rumble feature of the controller somehow within windows 10(Calibrating e.g.)?

Hello, yes the controllers function exactly as they would on the Xbox. Pressing the triggers in a racing game will give you a proportional amount of throttle/brake. The more you press the more you get.
