Xbox One Controller Disconnecting

Hi All,

First of all I am sorry to repeat this issue, I have seen many many posts about this and also the big thread in reddit. Also I followed the official guide

Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect too.

So far my both X1 controllers are disconnecting. I have done all steps such as checking any wifi/IR interference, battery power, object interference and etc. Below is detailed how actually it happened to me.

1. Both controllers are always connecting when its close to ~1 feet (30cm) from console

2. In rare occasions, one or both controllers are connecting with distance ~10 feet (3m) but only for very short period like 30-60 seconds.

3. Sometimes from 10 feet distance I can switch on the console using controller but soon disconnect even before the console fully up

4. Controllers are working fine when wired connected

Can someone from Community/Xbox help on this matter? I cannot spend to new console/controllers or ship it to fix to another country since my country doesn't have such service.

Tried all of the stupidly obvious steps in that video with no success...

 

Problem with controller

Both of my controllers are also disconnecting randomly

FIFA is the main game affected suffered 10 disconnects in one half!

I do have my xbox in the next room so not sure what the range of the controllers are

Thanks a ton for providing us with the steps you've gone through so far. To check, do you have a friend with a spare controller you can test with your Xbox One to see if there's any change with the connection? If this issue is happening across multiple controllers
and you've verified there are no devices interfering, your best option is going to be to set up a repair with your Xbox One.
