Xbox One controller buttons bounce (double tap) with wireless receiver

    So here's my problem

When my Xbox One controller is connected via the PC Xbox one controller receiver, the ABXY buttons seem to bounce(double tap), and in Xbox home menu the d-pad double taps 99% of the time. I've tried using 3rd party software, and even shutting off all pre-processing
software. And the controller seems to be updated to the last firmware. I have to be overlooking something super obvious. But the fixes I've seen either include things I've tried or involve taking apart the controller. It nearly never bounces when connected
via USB, so I don't think it's hardware related. It feels like interference, even though my controller is mostly within less than 1 meter from the receiver in direct line of sight. I'm incredibly frustrated with this double tapping and makes most of my games
near unplayable. The ABXY buttons seem to do it 1/10 times, and are the biggest problem for me. The D-pad has had this problem even with wired connection, but I don't use it nearly enough for me to care (unless it makes scrolling through menus nearly impossible).

I've used this Xbox one controller for about a year now using a wired connection via USB to my PC. I recently switched to wireless because micro-USB cables wear out ridiculously quick. I'm at my 10th USB cable at this point. And its not like I'm doing anything
abusive with my controller. But if after spending 40 more euros for a charging dock and receiver the controller breaks down like this, I might be better off switching to another controller altogether.

I'm at the end of my wits. Thanks in advance.

    :)

I got my new controller, same thing is happening. Solution: It's interference from the receiver. I've talked to some other players on rocket league and everyone is on the same page it seems. Wireless xbox one controller gives double inputs from time to time.
If its because of my wireless headphones or my steel computer case, I don't know. But even with the new controller it double taps for no reasons sometimes. I also had a load of trouble with the reciever. But after uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers
and switching ports 4 times it's working again.

Im going to start looking for a wired connection that doesn't fatigue in a week. Because the wireless experience, besides the convenience of portability, has been awful so far.

    Update*

Problems are still occurring. Also, as i failed to mention in my first question. The vibration on the controller stops working coincidentally with the button bouncing problem. It works fine for a little bit. And with no external factors other than me playing
a game, rumble stops working, and buttons start acting weird. My new controller is arriving tomorrow, but the way its looking its not a hardware issue on the controller's part.

Also, the controller sometimes refuses to connect to the dongle after I've restarted my PC. Which is also something strange that my xbox 360 controller never did.

    Hi Ice,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issues with your controller. Have you went into the

    accessories app
, and tried the settings there. Even resetting to default if it already is there may help recalibrate the controller. Try this and let us know.

    Thanks,

    Brad

I checked the accessories app, reset it to default and made extra sure the firmware was indeed up to date, and it is. V 3.1.1221.0

I played some games after and it seemed fine for a little while, but that could have been luck. Then after a while the bouncing got more noticeable. It might be that the buttons are sticking and that's whats making it bounce. Though the buttons have felt
fairly "sticky" since when I first took it out of the box. I've got a design labs controller heading this way in the next 2 weeks (Not sure when it arrives). So I'll try with that one once i get the chance. So far no luck on the software end of things though...
