Xbox one controller button is loose and don't work

Progressively the X button of my controller became loose enough to be constantly active. I can still pull it up but it stays active. If I put my controller facing down the X comes out like the other buttons. I already try to place alcohol all around the
button but its not working. My controller isnt a classic xbox controller i think and it is wired. I hope that all this informations will help you find a solution, thx in advance and sorry for my bad english!

Problem solved, the plastic part under the buttons was torn and moved I think.

Unfortunately my controller warranty is voided due to me cleaning it but this was about 3 days before the warranty was off. So I guess after this crisis new controller I suppose?

I have a controller with a semi-loose A button, although it's never bothered me enough to return it. Please contact MS support to see if it's under warranty.

Depending on the age of the controller it may still be under warranty. Microsoft do make it easy to check here, but other than
that you may need to replace it.

With regards to attempting a repair on it yourself, I don't know how viable it is, but you may find someone else here that knows more about that than I do.
