XBox One controller bricked while update on W10

I tried to update the firmware on my XBox controller using the XBox Accessories app on my PC.

The update stopped in 0% and now I can't turn on.

I was using new batteries and never had problems with the control.

Can you fix it?

Will microsoft refund me for this error?

I live in japan and left my xone in Brazil.
So I can't update on xone now.
Do you have any assistance I can send for repair?

Thank you for providing this update for us.

Since you are unable to update your device using your PC and you don't have your console around, then setting up a

Service order would have to be your best option.

However, keep in mind that all accessories have 90-day-warranty, unless you have a Design Lab controller or an Elite controller.

If you device is still in warranty then the Service center will be able to replace your controller altogether, as they do not repair accessories, they merely replace them.

Again, the only other alternative left if you device is not in warranty, would be to

update your controller using another Xbox One console, if this is possible.

I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are having issues with the controller. Do you have an Xbox console that you could update the controller on? Try plugging the controller in with the USB cable also then update.

I saw that there are several recent cases of people who have had the same problem.
Microsoft releases an update that will brick the control if updating by pc.
There is no warning about the risk.
My control worked perfectly and I was harmed.
This is a disrespect.
Thank you for not helping me.
