Xbox One controller, black wont open up all the games when I press the glowing XBOX button

The next step will be to try using different controllers with your xbox to confirm if it is an issue with the controller or console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

The last option would be for you to try and request a replacement for your controller from the microsoft website online.

Nothing at all

G'day kuyatatay. In order to get back to the home screen, please press the glowing Xbox button at the top center of the controller. The button labeled with 3 lines is the Menu button, and will usually pause the game or open its menu.

On your controller, there should be a small button that makes the Xbox ring glow. If you press that button and press the one on your Xbox that's located between your disc tray it should connect.
