    Xbox One controller and network disconnect


    I am currently at college and I am connected to the Wifi that all other students connect their xboxs and playstations to. It seems though that no one else is having this issue. Every few minutes, which can range from 5min to 1.5hrs, my xbox controller
    will disconnect temporarily as well as my internet connection. I have tried to reset my connection when I first get on and it seemed to have worked for a while, but more and more it keeps disconnecting and I cannot find any information about this issue.

    This is a known issue as mentioned here:

    Just to confirm, does the controller still disconnect with the cable as well? Does it disconnect randomly, or only at specific times in particular?

    What’s the exact model of the controller, and is this a third party one or a genuine one? If it’s an official Microsoft one, you can find the version number in the battery compartment.
