    Everything looks good in terms of the xbox status. Im just going to try the hard reset again. Just to double check what i am doing is correct, i have to turn the console off, wait a little bit, hold the eject and controller sync buttons, and then hold
    the xbox power button and wait for it to bring me to the little dark menu

    I think that you need to wait or restart your console because my update didnt work and I waited until it worked.
