    Xbox One Console Update & Power Supply problem


    I'm having an issue with a console update with my xbox one, the xbox starts up as normal and does the update until it's gets to the third stage (applying the update) and my xbox completely shuts down, which turns off my power brick/supply. I do all the
    steps in getting the power supply back on and turn my xbox on again and I'm back at the beginning. It just repeats this same process of getting to the third stage and hard shutting down. I have tried the offline update technique and that didn't work so now
    I have no idea what to do. I have noticed lately that my power supply has turned off even though I didn't do that and turned my xbox off the normal way. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do? The last thing I want to do is buy a new power supply but
    I don't think that is the problem. Any thoughts??

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

    Like stated in the previous comments you may want to look at
    Xbox Power Supply Solution

    However if you have tried these steps and your power unit light stays off or is blinking, you may need to request a Repair or Service, your console much still be under warranty.
    You can check your warranty by registering your device through the repair and service link I provided.

    If your console is no longer under warranty you may need to buy a new power brick.

    Xbox One turns on and as soon it turns off

    This can usually be solves by resetting the surge protection in the power supply. Unplug the console and power supply (if you have an original Xbox one) for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If that does not fix this problem your power supply (internal
    or external) may need repairs.
