Xbox One: Console thinks it's connected to the internet even though the router is turned off

I am having a similar problem, my xbox CAN connect to the router, but can't connect to the Internet, I've tried the suggestions on turning it off then back on and it isn't working even though my computer works on the Internet just fine. I've also tried turning
off my PC the let it connect, but to no prevail.

Its a common question/problem and down to the capabilities of the router even though your Linksys is a high end product it may not support UPnP to the level needed to support multiple Xboxes. Please enable UPnP and turn off portforwarding and triggering
and set your Xbox ip addresses to auto

even though other devices are connecting to the internet you should still try restarting your router and while your router is turned off you should completely power down your Xbox and unplug the power from the wall socket.

restart the router first and wait until it has fully initialised and connected to your ISP before plugging the Xbox back in and turning it on.

Im currently having a similar problem. My xbox 360 tells me that I am connected to the router and the internet but it wont let me connect to xbox live. I have upplugged and turned off everything i could think of and still nothing. Someone told me to redownload
my account again and now it wouldnt even let me do that even though my friends can sign in on my box. What should I do?

It could be the amount of devices on the network. Even though no one is using these devices, it still uses data on the network. Try to turn off the everything that uses a wireless connection and a wired connection try the test again. It should be faster.
My internet is really slow if my iphone is connected to the internet. Even though I'm not using it.
