    Today i turned on my Xbox one x to find that half of the screen was greyed out in static that covered the screen and made it impossible to see that half. Everything else was working fine and it made no noise however it would not go away. At first i thought
    it was the tv but when i switched inputs the gray static was gone so i knew it was the xbox. I tried restarting it and powering it off and checking the HDMI cable but nothing worked. Just yestarday it was working fine and completely normal. My family hasnt
    touched it and i really have no idea what could have caused this but it wont go away. My only thought is that there was an update for the console but i dont think that could have caused this. Please somebody help or lmk if you have the same problem as me.

    Been having the same problem intermittently. The tech contact had me reinstall the latest update via a flash drive. I'll see how that works.

    Has anyone suggested a Hard Reset (Power Cycle) ? "Step 3"

    Try another HDMI Port on TV and Maybe another HDMI Cable

    2. And get shure your TV is on the newest Firmware available

    ◾Hold Power Button on Console at least 5-6 seconds untill you hear a beep and Console turns off

    ◾Wait ~30sec. until the light on the Power Supply turns Orange.

    ◾Disconnect Power Supply from Wall Outlet and from XB1

    ◾Wait again ~60sec.

    ◾Plug Back in Power and try again.

    Please try Step 3 and let me know or tick the anwser as resolved if it has worked.
