Xbox one console new version without kinect

The Xbox One Kinect is technically $200+ then why can't they sell a version without it for $400 instead of the actual price of the console without it.

Whoever told you at the time of purchase lied to you. Microsoft publicly announced that the Kinect would not be required to utilize the console a few months before the release of the product, and was very public regarding this if you followed the latest
news. However, they also stated that the way they designed and marketed the console was that "Kinect" is part of the console. There are a lot of reasons for it, but the biggest one would be, making sure that everyone has the capability to utilize Kinect
commands so that developers are a lot more free to include those options in the games they make without alienating the people without "Kinect".

The short version, The console plus the Kinect "is" the Xbox One.

I hope they announce a new version of the XBone, one with the problems addressed. I know they are releasing consoles with various options, that is Without Kinect and one with no No Optical Drive. Then maybe I can spend some money later in the year and get
a new console. I really don't want to go over to the Dark Side (PS4)

^ Did you read the article? The new console is rumored to be bundled with the new version of Kinect, so if you have the current version of Kinect it will not work with the new console. You do not have to purchase the new Kinect separately. Again, just a
rumor.

there is a reason why voice commands cant be done through the headset and that is that all the commands are processed in the kinect sensor itself not on the console, voice commands cant be processed through the headset, it just does not have the capability
to do it, unless they were to create a new headset with features of the kinect built into it, but they would probably charge upwards of £90 for something like that and personally i dont see that happening myself, if people so badly want to use features that
are only available with the kinect version of the console they should get that version end of, you cant have it both ways, IMO the xbox one is a far better machine with kinect than it is without.
