    I feel I wasted 10$

    It's a straight port of the arcade/MVS version hence no extra modes from the PS2 version and from what I remember there's no purple haired guy in the Metal Slug games. Closest person I can think of that's been in a Slug game is Leona from Ikari Warriors/King
    of Fighters, she was an extra character in the PSP version of Metal Slug (XX I think)

    Sadly, there is nothing you can do to fix that. If they pernamently took down the servers than thats tough luck. If you read the fine print on the back bottom of your case it will say under xbox live system requirements, "features and system requirements
    may change without notice". This is just part of the circle of gaming life.
