xbox one code not 25 digit

I just got a new xbox one and it came with a 60$ microsoft code. I have been unable to enter the code due to it not being a 25 digit code. This code was emailed to me when I purchased the xbox one. Thank you for all your help (example code:gk4y830y1)

Taco bell reward help please

Those are for the 25 digit xbox live codes from cards. The taco bell codes are 6 or 7 digit. Not enough.

Xbox Live trial code help

My friend gave me a code to redeem a free trial for Xbox Live Gold, however the code has 30 digits and when prompted on my Xbox One, I can only enter 25 digits. Is there a way to enter 30 digits or is my code not redeemable?

Hello GentlePotatoe,

If the code is not 25 characters long, it sounds like it needs to be redeemed with the retailer, not Xbox Live.

If you bought from the Microsoft Store, log in there and add a $60 cde to your basket and go to the basket: where it asks you to enter a code, enter the one you were emailed and you should see the price of the basket drop to zero.

If you bought from another retailer, you should be able to follow very similar steps to get the content.

Is it a 9 digit code or a 25 digit code? 9 digit codes are for microsoftstore.com. You would have to make the purchase there and it gives you the option to add a promo code during checkout. You would have to contact their customer support for issues with
entering the code.

25 digit codes are Xbox codes and would be redeemed to your account before you make a purchase.

It's a 9 digit code. When I go the Microsoft store site and try to purchase it, it brings up the store app from windows 10. There is no place to enter the 9 digit code. only the 25 digit ones

All Xbox codes are 25 digits not just new ones

However promotional codes that are lrss then 25 aren't redeemed on Xbox live usually you follow the instructions to a certain website to redeem the codes

that's correct, none of us have the ability to help on a third-party code. My first question to you is whether this is a 25 digit code? If it's not a 25 digit code, it's not one that can work with a Xbox.

These codes usually need a separate website to distribute to you the version you want.
