Xbox One Chatpad Does Not Work on Windows 10

Xbox One Chatpad does not work when connected to bluetooth in windows 10, even if the Xbox One controller works with bluetooth. But when I connect the controller with a USB cable, the chatpad is running.
I downloaded Xbox Accessories. The update was installed on the controller and chatpad. Still, there's nothing changing. Will I be able to wirelessly run the chatpad on Windows 10 without receiving the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

Xbox One controller for PC chatpad not working, light blinking orange

Found the *sort of* answer to this.

I went to a buddys place and used his xbox one to re-rerun the firmware update for my elite controller. After doing that update, the chatpad started working. The Xbox One accessories app works with it in windows 10. Windows 10 does not have support for re-mapping
chatpad keys.

Chatpad won't fit into controller

We received a new Chatpad + headset for a gift, but the chatpad will not fit into the controller.

The XBox is XBox One S (white controller)

The Chatpad + Headset are labeled for XBox One / Windows 10 and are black.

Is it supposed to slide in easily? It certainly doesn't and without putting too much pressure does not seem to want to fit into the controller. We have already plugged the headset in directly to the controller and ran the firmware update. However, the
chatpad simply won't fit into the controller.

Paul here from Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the situation, It looks like the Xbox One Chatpad isn't working properly while connected to the PC. If you are trying to use it for a specific game I would check to make sure the game developer supports
the Xbox One Chatpad function on it. Otherwise I would try these
steps.

Officially this isn't supported and most likely will not work, according to the Xbox Support Page.

"Controllers connected via Bluetooth do not support any attachments, including chat headsets."

Please try and follow step by step on this
Support Article to see if we can get the chat pad to work wirelessly through Bluetooth. If you are still running into problems I would suggest testing out different Controllers to see if maybe that is the issue.

Hey Lee!

I'm sorry to hear about the controller issues. Are you able to try your controller/chatpad on a different Windows 10 PC? And/or with a different Xbox One controller on your PC? And have you made sure that your controller is fully updated, with the chatpad
in for the update? As well as making sure your PC is fully updated?

What game are you trying to use the controller/chatpad in?

A bit more information will help us out.

It doesn't work on another PC I tried it on, and it doesn't work with any controller when connected to a PC. I've tried it in Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition as well as regular desktop applications, because it used to work fine in those situations.

The Chatpad doesn't even light up when connected.
