Xbox One Cast To Issue

Hi guys. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

Basically I use cast to Xbox quite a lot from my PC to my Xbox. I have realized recently that even though my Xbox is connected and showing in my Devices on my PC it won't show up as a Cast to option. When I start the process again (remove the Xbox from my
network and find it again) it will work but I use the controller to turn my console off. If I do this and try to cast the next day for example, the device is not showing. If I do a full restart of the console it will show. My internet is fine as I've checked
my router and there's been no drops and my smart TV stays connected all the time too. Just a bit perplexed so hopefully someone can shed some light

Hi. Thanks for the reply. It was working correctly after a console reset for three days but tonight after an update to windows 10 (v1803), my console wasn't recognised even though it was in the cast to list. I have had to do another console reset to get
it recognised and working but I don't want to keep doing this. Please can you help?

Also don't see XBOX on cast to list on fall creators update. What's the deal should I return the XBOX and use a 40$ stream stick? Lame.
