Xbox One Cant use the Settings?

having the same issue, argh. seems like a virus if some sorts stopping the user from getting rid of it? You would think there would be a built in firewall to prevent such attack?

just spoke to xbox support. turn off system and unplug from the wall for one minute plug back in and power on. this is a hard reboot and refreshes the sytem.

I actually just had it to where I couldn't access the settings. It wouldn't load then it would crash back to the home screen. Luckily for me doing the power cycle it helped and fixed it. Possibly try doing more power cycles to see if it eventually clears
the issue.

Oh no problem I just find it funny that one of the ways I could fix this problem is in the place I can't access. Thanks for your help.

The process CMU mentioned is known as power cycling. This clears the cache and resets the network card. This will normally clear up quite a few issues you might experience. Let us know if you have any problems with the process or afterward.
