    As @Bimnog stated earlier, it seems Your gateway can't be used for such complex setups, because network port can be used only for one device exclusively. DMZ is automatic port forwarding but for one device, so, You can't use ports forwarded for Your Xbox
    One, for Your girlfriend Xbox One.

    @smurf, do you have port forwarding setup? I have a standard ISP router and can't port forward more than 1 device for the same ports, so was considering buying a new router if it would help.

    I see. Have you heard about port forwarding? I asked because there could be one of the Xbox One ports needed that's closed. Regardless how fast your connection is, if one of the required port is closed, issues like this can happen.
