Xbox One Can't Control My Cable Box (Pace PX001BNT w/ TiVo from Mediacom)

I'm unable to get my Xbox One to control my cable box listed above and am also unable to control it through OneGuide as a result. Any help would be great; thanks!

HDCP issues with Live TV only

I have the same problem. It was working fine until the latest update came out. Now I receive the HDCP error from the TiVo box every time I turn the xbox on and try to watch live tv. I have tried resetting the cables and power cycling. Turning the tv off
and back on was working but now it is not. Quitting the tv app doesn't solve it. I have tried restarting the TiVo box as well. I have an LG tv, pioneer vsx822 receiver, and TiVo pace px001bnt

 

Xbox one won't control my pace dc 700x cable box

When I try to change the channel with vocal commands my xbox understands me, but does not change the channel on my Pace dc700x cable box from Mediacom. It controls my tv just fine. I have installed an ir extension cable, but that does not help at all.

 

Hey CSDBoulder - is this still an issue?

Have you tried going though guided setup using brand=Mediacom and brand=Pace?

Your make/model seems a lot like the Comcast X1 box, which uses remote code C1982.

 

I had the same issue. I have a Comcast cable box (RNG150N) when I did the automatic setup as directed in the settings menu it put in an automatic remote code of (c18??) and this did not work. After reading the post above I manually put in the remote code
of (c1982) and Joy!!! it finally worked.I can now change the channel using my Xbox remote and also using the Smartglass app on my cellphone. Thank you Studbucket33!!

 

I have the same issue to. My provider is GCI and I am using the PX001BNT.

 

Hey AKFossil - does C1982 not work to control your box? You can enter this from TV & OneGuide settings -> device control -> cable/sat box -> enter a remote code.

If not, try C3560 (which seems to be the right codeset for make=Mediacom, model=TiVo)
