Xbox one can't connect to certain games

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If it's working just fine using a different network connection you may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If that didn't work, you may need to reach out to your Internet Service Provider so they can validate if there are any restrictions on their end.

I'm not entirely sure you're able to play two games at the same time using the same ownership - that would be my guess onnthe issue

We never had issues before until just recently, also we can both play the games, we just can't play together.

One thing I forgot to say is we can connect on other games and we can connect to a party chat with just us two in it. It seems to only be Call of Duty although we haven't tried every single game.
