    Hello,

    This has now been an ongoing issue for me for about 2 years now. I am amazed that there hasn't been any fix for it... So far, I have:

    1. Unplugged and plugged back in

    2. Checked in "Audio" to make sure my mic was on

    3. Checked in "Audio" to make sure my "Mic Monitoring" was high enough

    4. Used 2 different controllers

    5. Used 3 different headsets

    6. Reset the console

    7. Factory reset the console

    8. Reset both controllers

    9. Configured my controller

    10. Checked to make sure the switch was set to [ON] on all 3 mics (one is just earbuds but has a microphone)

    11. Checked accessories only to see "Connected device: Headset" (for all 3 mics)

    12. Checked the party chat to see if it said I had a mic plugged in (it says I have a mic plugged in, I still cannot speak, with all 3 of these headsets)

    13. Power cycles with my internet

    14. Open NAT type

    15. Turned mono output on and off

    16. Updated my security settings

    And...nothing. This issue seems to be effecting a lot of people as you can see by the images attached. I'm pretty frustrated since I just wasted a bit of money on a new controller from you guys thinking it was the original controller that was busted and
    made sure to get another headset again just to be sure only to have this issue still persist. Why is this a thing? I read on another forum that it's an IP problem. Is there ANYTHING I can do? I'm really sick of using the Xbox App because my laptop picks up
    so much background noise and static. It's almost impossible to talk to anyone and has been lessening my overall interest in Xbox/Microsoft for the last 2 years since I can't really play with any of my friends. I'd honestly rather play some Silent Hill 2 or
    Super Mario Sunshine lately. It's so annoying having to hear every player in your game yet not being able to talk to them and tell them "heads up, we need to do X, Y and Z so that A, B, and C don't happen," or when you're just trying to make friends with people
    who seem like fun. Is there anything I can do or is this just never going to fixed because enough people haven't complained about it yet?

    No, the only thing you can try to do is repeal the ban if you feel it was wrongful by posting in the forum that SOLOKILLER8896 said but since you know what you did there is little chance of that happening. Your best bet is to make a new account and start
    over.

    Real Life has many advantages over simulated but, I digress. About your problem..... Xbox eye??? Do you mean the console dosen't read games? Is the disk scratched? The Holidy Season is upon us now, so maybe a present is instore. Otherwise, the console
    can be repaired and/or a new game can be purchased.. Prices are dropping fast. GOOD LUCK!!!
