May I know if the game mode is displayed when you open a Game in your Samsung TV?
Also, in case your TV supports HDR can you try disabling it?
Or what about using a different TV / Screen?

And besides the troubleshooting steps described in your post what else did you tried?
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

Tried the steps in A1-A4 and plugged the Xbox power cord into the wall directly and the problem has gone away.

The odd thing is it just started, everything was perfectly fine up to that point where the problem showed up. The game mode typically displays when an Xbox game loads, there is an indication in the middle of the screen when it turns off and on.

Another odd thing is that MLB The Show 22 does not show this problem. When I load games like Fortnite, Elden Ring then the problem exists.

I tried the disable HDR mode too, that didn't fix the problem. I tried all the typical brightness, contrast settings on the tv and Xbox, but that didn't fix anything.

When I am able, I will try another tv and see what happens, then reply to this with the result.

Haven't tried any other troubleshooting besides what I posted.

Tested with another tv and everything looks fine. The tv I tested with doesn't have Game Mode or HDR though.

From other forums, I think my issue is called color washed maybe.

I don't have any insider builds / beta OS installed on the Xbox, it is as I bought it 5 years ago. When I mentioned reset, I meant restarted, or rebooted, so just rebooted the Xbox through the setting in the Xbox.

Think the issue is with the Samsung Smart TV I have, turned the HDR off and turned the Game Mode off, but that doesn't seem to fix anything. When I go through the HDR calibration in the Xbox, the first screen, minimum luminance is visible, the second screen, maximum luminance is visible, but the third screen is completely white, can barely see the outlines of monitors on the right side.

Still odd why MLB The Show 22 looks perfectly fine, but other games don't, would think the same TV settings would apply to all games.

Any ideas on what might be happening?
