Xbox one bluetooth controller, incorrect PIN on android.

Hey, support people.

I've been trying to connect my Xbox One Bluetooth controller to my Android 6.0.1 phone. I start my controller and hold the pair button down until the X begins to flash rapidly. I let go of the button and turn on my Android's Bluetooth. "Xbox Wireless Controller"
comes up with a D-Pad icon next to it. Great! I tap it and it begins to pair. 30 or so seconds later, I get an error: Couldn't pair with Xbox Wireless Controller because of an incorrect PIN or passkey.". I was told to make the passkey 0000 but I cant figure
out where to put it. If someone could tell me this passkey and where to put it in, that'd be great.

Edit: I've also tried resetting my network settings

So I tried to connect my xbox one s wireless controller with Bluetooth on my android device but everytime a message was coming up saying "Incorrect PIN or passkey has been entered" but I have never entered any Pin or Passkey. Any way to fix it?

Use 0000 not oooo

Apparently I need to set a PIN or passkey to a certain number but I cant find out what it is or how to set it

some vendors phones simply wont pair with xbox controllers typically samsung phones are most likely to work because MS has some agreement with GearVR to promote xbox controllers
