    xbox one blank screen

    I've had my xbox one for 2 months now and just recently had problems start happening. when booting forza 5 I get no sound then when it get to microsoft studio logo it goes blank. I have been unplugging it for 10 seconds and problem is fixed but it's happened a total of 3 to 4 times recently. this time i tried a digital game when forza didn't work and the digital game worked. after that tried forza again still same blank screen no sound so tried another disc game tomb raider also blank. unplugging system works everytime but has me worried something is wrong with my system since it keeps happening.

    I am sorry to hear about the blank screen issues. Just to make sure that we have not missed any troubleshooting steps I would like to recommend a few steps if you have not tried them already.

    Give the following steps a shot:



    • Press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Leave the console unplugged for 5 minutes and plug in your console.
    • Power on your console.
    • Test your Network connections to verify that there are no connection issues.

    2 players on same console question - Very new XBOX owner

    Forza Horizon 4 does not support 2 players on one console at the same time, the Forza Motorsport games for Xbox One however do (that is Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7)

    The terms you want to be looking for are couch co-op, local co-op, split screen, and some more, if you are ever unsure, feel free to make a post asking :)

    some games that offer 2 players at the same time on the Xbox One, are the Forza Motorsport titles listed above, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo: Reach (which is backwards compatible), all the Lego Video games, Minecraft.
