    Xbox One being heckin weird


    So I went onto my xbox today and found that for whatever reason whenever I hover over a game in my library, It immediately goes into the popup menu when you press the start button. I know it isn't a controller issue as I've tried every controller I have and it happens with all of them.

    Let’s try some steps to isolate the issue. Kindly turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on then try your controllers again.

    I figured out what the problem was. I often use a keyboard when playing online games and I guess when I unplugged it after a play session the space bar was being held down so my Xbox thought it was being constantly held down. I just plugged my keyboard back in and it solved the problem.

    Exact same thing happened. I just realized I didn't clarify what my issue is in my post so allow me to reword it: I am not touching any buttons on my controller and I hover over a game in my library, it immediately goes into the popup that allows me to go the store page and stuff and continues to go into said menu until I manage to get the selector into the sidebar.

    Have you tried resetting your console manually using the Xbox troubleshooter page?
