XBox One Audio Briefly Cuts Out

Hi, I've just started having this issue in the past couple days. The auto will completely cut out for a couple seconds at random intervals. It doesn't matter if I am playing a game or streaming video. I have never encountered this issue before. I don't
know what could have caused this or what to do. I haven't been able to find any solution through Google searches. The only thing that I can think of that has changed recently is that I set the console to Instant On instead of Power Saving. If anyone else
is having this issue or has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Tried hard resetting, leaving it unplugged for at least five minutes, unplugging the HDMI at both ends, still experiencing the issue. The audio setting on the console is set to Stereo (Uncompressed). I don't have a surround sound system, so I don't think
5.1 or 7.1 would be of any use to me and I don't know what bitstream out is. I'm worried that my console may be having a hardware failure, at least as far as the audio. No other issues that I've noticed.

I have another TV, but it was damaged in a house fire a few years ago. I think the HDMI ports have issues sometimes. I have tried the other inputs on the current TV with no issues so far. It looks like it is down to the XBox One, the HDMI cable for
it, or the specific HDMI port it is connected to. I will test the other ports more and I have ordered a replacement HDMI cable. I just have to wait for it to arrive. I am planning on getting an XBox One X, but can't afford that just yet.

Hi have you tried hard resetting your console and unplugging the power cord for 5 mins just yo clear the cache, also have you tried a different HDMI as the cable could also be the issue

My TV has four HDMI ports. My XBox One is connected to port 2 while my PS4 is connected to port 3. After using the PS4 for a while, it has the same issue. I have switched my XBox One to port 4 and it still has the issue, although perhaps less severely.
So, in conclusion, the problem is my TV. I thank everyone for their timely responses. I do appreciate your time. I was worried I would have to replace my console. I'm actually a bit relieved that the only thing I need to replace will be my TV, although
it is still annoying. Again, thank you for your time. It is appreciated.

If you have another TV (any size/model) try the console. If the issue follow the console, then your TV is ok and is a console related issue, if the issur disappear, than is an issue of your first TV and the console is working fine.

This little test can help you identify where the issue is.
