Xbox one anniversary far cry download isn't working

I got an email with a download for Far cry 4, but when I click it, it does not work. I thought finally Xbox was recognizing my 10 year Xbox live tenure and saying thank you for adopting our new system early, but now I feel like I am mistaken. Really feels
like a kick in the pants. I have convinced so many people to buy Xbox and join Xbox live, and I am repeatedly treated like a second class citizen.

Game code error : 0x80153005

Hi,

I ordered the Far cry the wild expedition game pack, and the "far cry: Classic" digital version's code isn't working.

Jeremy the support line guy told me to try to post here.

Can't download Recore to my PC

You need to update to Windows Anniversary Edition 1607. Go to Windows Update and get the latest patches. If the download isn't working, go and download the manual installation.

I've only played GTA V on the 360 and it was a good game which by all accounts is better on the One.

Far Cry 4 is fantastic - a very good looking game with loads to do in a big area to do it in. The story is forgettable - nowhere near as good as Far Cry 3 - but the story is only a small percentage of the game. Unfortunately, it felt a little bit like Far
Cry 3.1 which isn't a bad thing as such.

Far Cry 4 is also £9.60 which is an absolute no brainer!!!!!

Slightly off topic, does anyone know whether the arcade Far Cry game is backwards compatible or is on list for backwards compatibility?

the MP isn't great but could be improved with a update, the thing i'm surprised is they didn't go down the Far Cry 3 route were 4 players work together to complete objectives it worked really will in Far Cry and would of been alot of fun inTR or a horde
/firefight mode were you have to work together to survive wave after wave of enemies maybe next time?
