    Xbox One and the Dish Network Joey.


    Since I plan on getting an Xbox One this coming tuesday, i want to use the Joey I'm getting soon with it as well.

    Does it work? Or have people had issues with it?

    Hi fatdog56. I'm not sure what's wrong, but here's a few troubleshooting ideas:

    1) Try unplugging the HDMI cable from the back of the Xbox One

    2) Can you set the STB resolution to 720p?

    3) Try power cycling (unplug power) from the STB

    4) Try going home and quitting live TV by hitting the menu button on the big tile and choose quit. Restart Live TV

    I just set mine up with the dish joey. The video works fine but the video quality is degraded. I am not happy about this bc this was a major reason I picked the xb1 over the ps4. I googled the issue and it turns out it's a known problem. The video looks
    kind of cloudy greyish and is definitely lower resolution than watching dish directly from the joey. If you bought the console I'm sure you know this by now.

    For it to work properly joey must hit the menu button twice then you will see page about your remote and how to add remote, just hit and release the sat button and then send power code to see if it turns your device off...
