Xbox one s or series s ?

If xbox one s then no it has to run thru xcloud as the hardware isn't powerful enough meaning non subscriber accounts can't use it

Series s can run it natively thru home share

Hello Brandon, you must be referring to account sharing, if the account that owns the game is yours you should put it as principal in your brother's console, and your brother should do the same with his account.

Home share is a console only feature

To use gamepass on pc you must be signed into the xbox store with the purchasing profile

And can't be used offline

Also a profile can only be signed in in one place at a time

This is NOT an issue with series s as home console allows profiles ob the console to use it

360 games require that profile to have gold to save, if you try to share the subscription to a whole xbox and try that, either you must use that profile or it will not work, hope that helps your son if he has Backward Compatible games. Xbox One and Series X/S should work that way though, if nothing, notify us if that did not help.
