    So I already know that it said the Xbox One is not compatible with 360 games. So am I just going to have to play back and forth on my Xbox One and 360, or is there something I don't know. Also I know that Destiny for example it said if you bought it on the
    360 you get it for free on the Xbox One. Do they do this with any other games?

    You are correct about having to go back and forth.

    As far as upgrading, there have been offers for various games, not always free though. When the One first came out there were several games that allowed you to upgrade for $10 instead of full price, and Minecraft allows you to upgrade for $5. So it just
    depends on if the publisher releases an offer like that for the game. The offers are limited time though, so some of them have already expired.

    I'm doubt too that Xbox One BC will support all Xbox 360 games, so just keep your Xbox 360 for Xbox 360 games and use your Xbox One for Xbox One games.

    Where did the Xbox 360 games come from? Another Xbox 360?

    If they were downloaded via an Xbox One/Series console you can't play these games on an Xbox 360. Firstly the drive wouldn't be configured for an Xbox 360. Secondly, Xbox 360 games downloaded via an Xbox One or Series X|S are actually 360 games that have been converted to run on an Xbox One, they are no longer native Xbox 360 games.

    You will need to buy Xbox One games, as the Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One, and Xbox One games will not work on the 360. Sorry!

    If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.
