    Xbox one all-digital running slow


    Bought used console, xbox one all digital 1tb, I reset and wiped console, updated it, installed two games and they never load except starting game screen. Also have extreme lag with controller every couple minutes or so. After waiting patiently, screen never loads and I hard rest my console but nothing changes. I have a wired controller but I can't update it. I've never had problems before with wifi, console power connections and always keep console clean. Help!

    Painful console update speed, normal?

    I am running Verizon Fios at 75Mbps and this Mar update is still at 33% since 8pm.

    What they heck is going on?

    All my Xbox one installs and updates are running super slow!

    Update is tooooooooooooooooooo long!!!!

    As with all things if everything is equal it would take minutes, but Microsoft doesn't own the internet and they also don't have infinite bandwidth, if a lot of people are all trying to download the update at the same time then it will download slowly.
    At times it runs slow, I've run bandwidth tests from a computer at the same time - and still have close to all bandwidth left while xbox is running.

    So it's MS servers, alright.

    So with pushing everything to cloud, onedrive, digital download purchases - they really need to upgrade their system to par with what they are selling.

    Why would you upgrade OneDrive to many TB - to get silly slow downloads from it?

    Why would you buy games from Xbox store - to get silly slow downloads from it?

    To sell something, you need to deliver quality - or nobody buys.
