Xbox One Add Profile error

I do not know how to properly explain this.

Okay… so I was forced to do a full factory reset on my Xbox one and I finally got everything working. However, when I try to click the Add Profile at start up, first it goes through the loading screen. Then a secondary loading screen pops up, but after a good minute of “loading” the screen then goes straight to the main menu screen. No error codes or try again messages. Nothing.

I do not know what to do and I am at my wits end trying to fix this. There is no help anywhere else and this is my last place to look for some possible help.

Sorry about that man. The update error is a hardware issue and the console will need to be serviced. I'll suggest taking it to a local departmental store so they can have a look as Microsoft no longer repairs the Xbox One

I know it sounds off, but I'll suggest you perform the factory reset again. Chances are it will solve the problem

Did that, too. Now all it does is give me update error messages in the middle of resetting and there is no issue with internet connections. Thanks for the help but I can have this thread closed and I’m just gonna take a hammer to the console.

I tried this option and still nothing. I even unplugged the wireless for thirty seconds to clear the cache or whatever it’s called and still nothing works. Im about ready to slam a sledgehammer onto the console.

- Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select Settings.

- Select Network Settings.

- Select Advanced Settings.

- Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

- Select Clear.

- Allow the console to restart when prompted.
