Xbox One Achievements app: error code 0x87c40011

I've not got this problem after Christmas with the code 0x87c40011 with the main achievements app and 0x87c47500 on the snap achievements section of xbox one.

Also having one or two problems syncing game saves and asking if i'm online (when I am) during the last few days too.

Hard reset, resetting modems, etc don't work either, any other ideas?

I'm now getting the 0x87c40011 error message when launching the Xbox One achievement App... and I also can't view achievements on Xbox.com

Fair few of us posting to @xboxsupport on twitter but only a couple people getting replies. This whole situation since getting the Xmas xbox one has been VERY frustrating.

 

I'm in the same boat, apparently.

About 12 hours ago I noticed not getting the achievement in MCC for killing a hunter with 1 pistol bullet. I had previously read the achievement and it stuck in my head as appearing strangely difficult.

Wanting to check the details, I tried to open the achievements app and couldn't.

I tried several power cycles, re-adding my profile, have been messing around with my modem and router for half the afternoon. All to little avail. The method of switching to a non-achievement background also didn't work for me. (I wonder if that could even
be the cause somehow?)

As stated several times by other posters, a second account works just fine, although that account has 0 xbox one achievements unlocked, it does show the app working correctly. All other friends I asked have no problems with this.

I also noticed that I can't access the achievements page on the website version of my profile. It just times out. It really seems to be grounded in certain profiles, though I can't see the common ground.

I'm very hesitant to play further and risk glitching up achievements beyond repair, despite my system assuring me I "haven't lost anything". I read too many 'horror' stories online that are freaking out my OCD/competitionist side

On a slightly related note, I redownloaded my profile to my xbox 360 about a week ago and had some previous achievement related problems. The total amount shown on the 360 was missing the xbox one ones. The xbox one showed the correct score. After getting
additional achievements on the 360 it snapped back to adding the xbox one score.

Has anyone else redownloaded their profile to the 360 recently as well?

 

Same here, error code 0x87c40011. First occurred to me about 18 hours ago, when a couple of achievements didn't unlock, despite meeting the requirements. Cannot view my achievements on xbox.com neither.

 

@Misses Quinzel: Your solution not worked. You can notice that this problem is not related to the Xbox Console, since no one can see the achievements in the Website & the Smartglass App. You are just giving an empty solution (like restart the CPU). This
is a paid service (the xbox live) and it's a shame that you do not have a professional support.

@Mister Quimby: The achievement issue is not mentioned in the link you just shared. Are you sure there is a team investigating it? We are having this problem since yesterday.

 

Yeah...the service status page has nothing on it concerning achievements.

That "official" response looks so copy/pasted. Quite annoying.

 

I'm having this issue too since morning.

 

I am also having issues with the achievements app for xbox one. It gives me the error code: 0x87c40011 and I'm not able to check my achievements on xbox.com or on smartglass. This started early today for me and I haven't dared to play Halo story, since I'm
worried I will not get the achivements. Xbox support suggested I remove my account and hard reset my xbox. I've done all that and it still will not work. I'm hoping Xbox will find a solution to this ASAP!

 

I cant get achievements or view them at all since last night and it's not on the server status. My brother can view his and it's annoying. I really think i should convert to PlayStation i mean i just got it for Christmas and can't do the one thing i enjoy
about Xbox. It's stupid really.

 

I have also been having this issue since yesterday.

I'm now having this issue and it seems that a lot of people who are suffering have a connection to halo, some people were playing it with no achievements unlocking, some unable to view their player id etc.

I'd be interested to know how many of those who weren't playing halo but have it installed on their xbox have been affected?

Maybe Halo is the devil child.....
