    my sons original Xbox account has been locked due to the password apparently being incorrect (which it wasn't as he'd written it down) he tried to retrieve his account using the form but was told he hadn't provided enough information regarding emails that
    had been received or sent (none had been sent as it was his Xbox account, used for gaming only) so he's lost all of the dlcs and packs on forza horizon 3 he had downloaded, and purchased, which he'd spent quite a bit of money on getting., is there anyway of
    getting the data back if it's stored on his hdd on his Xbox one? As he's had to create a new account, Or is there anyway of getting a refund as it wasn't his fault the password had to be reset (and failed) it was Microsoft's

    Live Account over 360 and Xbox One

    With the xbox one your account will be in the cloud so you just log onto your account on there xbox one and you can then use all your games as well

    First time use/setup

    Hi. I've bought a day one edition for my boys a surprise for Xmas but not had a chance to test it yet. Because one of my lads already has a 360 in his room with his own gold account, I am going to set up the xbox One with his as the primary account fir the gold access as that way we can use the same gold account on his 360 and the shared Xbox one.

    However, if I set the Xbox one up late one night presumably I will have to add the primary/gold account that it will use (I.e my son's) as part of the initial set up . Then I'll try it with one of the games. So by doing this, when he next uses his 360 will he see that his account had been used on an Xbox one? Obviously I don't want him to suspect there is an Xbox one in the house!!!

    If an automated assistant pops up click no thanks and scroll to the bottom. Then click on "Chat with Xbox Support".

    You/He should call Xbox Support via phone or talk to Xbox Support via chat.

    Xbox 360 to Xbox One

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid that it sounds like you currently have two accounts, one offline on the xbox 360 and one Xbox Live account on the Xbox One.

    There is an option to promote your offline xbox 360 account to an Xbox Live Account, but this will require a new Microsoft Account (email address), but the next issue would be that it is Not possible to merge multiple accounts into one Xbox Live Account.

    So basically there are two options, continue with the current Xbox Live Account that you have on the Xbox One, or to promote the 360 account to an Xbox Live Account and download that to the Xbox One and continue with that one.

    Transfer DLC from Xbox 360 to Xbox One?

    If you sign into the xbox 360 account on your xbox one, and if the 360 Game/DLC is backwards compatible you can download it onto your xbox one and then if you want to use that game/dlc on your other xbox one account, you can just sign into both that 360
    account and your xbox one account at the same time and launch the game on your xbox one account.

    I'm afraid game saves,achievements etc. can't be transferred between accounts.

    One of you would need to start a new account & start from scratch.

    It's only possible to share games/gold on 1 console at a time. For 4 consoles you would need to purchase them at least twice (2 separate accounts).

    well you set your own console as your own and require sign in on any other console and change the password

    You never ever lend your account out even for game sharing
