Xbox One account money address will not work for me

When the Xbox asks for the email address connected to the child account put in the parents email address/password instead and it will work (parents email address being the one used to verify the child's account when it was first created or to accept changes
to the child account), I think this only happens when the parent email address is not the same as the primary account holders email address. I have just had this problem tonight. Xbox support told me of this and it worked first time

To WPAK , the money shouldn't be an issue , you are informed before the swap that money will not transfer . As for the " non MS account email " , I've seen something similar to that but can't remember where , & other than Apple email I don't of any other
service . Each profile can only have one email account associated to it ; I have 2 profiles , one with a working email address & the problem profile with the outdated ( but verified ) address . When I first attempted the swap I tried to use the working address
from the other profile & was told I needed another account not associated with a profile . I made another email account but it's not working . The accounts I'm working with are cox.net ( the expired one , associated with #1 profile ) , gmail.com ( associated
with #2 profile ) , & outlook.com ( the address I want to swap to profile #1 ) . Profile #1 has all of the achievements that took me years to get , profile #2 is secondary , for my little nephews to use when they're visiting . I've gone to a MS support service
& asked about swapping out alias's in my cox.net account ( & then deleting cox , making outlook the primary )& how that would effect my profile . Waiting for an answer , will post it here when I get it .

Well lucky for me that email address associated with my live account (it isn't anymore I moved my gamertag to a brand new one to try and run and hide from the guy hacking me) the only thing that it's ever been used for is my Xbox Live account. I just averted
the max amount of damage done because I happened to log into XBL while this guy was spending my money.

Followed link & signed in , shows up as AU- Personal Account , when i goto xbox.com & sign in , the address shown is my AU address however , as explained above ,when I try to buy XBox Live Subscription I get stuck on the
payment screen , wont let me go any further as it only gives me American states to choose from , I even tried choosing one of the American states , then it says my post code is incorrect , just gets stuck on the payment screen , cant go any further . I have
also tried changing my region , both by myself & under instruction by one of the Xbox Live Support people , both times it did not work , still have the same problem . What I need is contact details for these idiots to do their jobs , I am completely discusted
with Xbox attitude & the way they have just fobbed me off , and this is when I am trying to give them money , god help me if I was trying to get money off them . Bill is sitting back counting money whilst he cant even run his business properly ......... poor
poor effort in my opinion , was thinking about getting an XBox One , but with the way they run their business I doubt I will ever buy another Microsoft product unless it is the absolute last option . Worst still I cant even find a complaints contact email
address so that they can fix up their problems & take more money from me , Poor Poor Effort ...... things work in roundabouts Bill , you got some comin' I am sure ....

Kindly try to update your billing address/information. See if that will work.
