Xbox One Accent Color is regularly wrong

No matter what color you set in the Personalization menu, the "accent color" of the Xbox One dashboard
regularly switches back to the default green. There are many graphical elements on the dashboard (game tiles, menu bullets, cursor, cursor ambiance etc.) and many of the elements are green, no matter what your personal color is.

It's also different every time you start (or restart) the console. Sometimes
everything is green, other times the cursor itself is the color you set but other elements such as game titles or the ambient light of the cursor is green. It looks ugly and funny at the same time but it's obviously a bug Microsoft hasn't been able
to fix ever since the "new" dashboard was released last fall. Every time I start the console the different UI elements vary in color (either what I set or green). The combination is always random.

This applies to both Xbox One and Xbox One X. Tested on several consoles with several profiles. Not in the Insider program.

Which Chrome controller?

I have a blue chrome too, the finger prints are a pain to keep off and they look gross. If you try to wipe it off with a dry cloth they just smear, I don't know about a wet one though, its just gross looking. The controller seems to work fine though. And
If I were you I would get red, the silver would be completely one color with no accents, I like the colored chromes because they have silver accents. It makes it look better. And if you were to get black I imagine with the reflective surface on a dark color
the fingerprints would be even worse looking.

The Kinect Sucks

do you have a thick accent? I have an accent (east coast Canadian) and it works flawless. regular level tone and all even with a few people around.

also a lot of people thought it wasn't working right and it turned out they were saying the wrong commands

It's possible that the Xbox team has not yet added more accent color options because they have other priorities or are focused on other features. However, it's also possible that they are actively working on adding more color options and they will be available in future updates. It's always a good idea to check for updates to the Xbox software and to give feedback to the Xbox team through the Xbox feedback website or social media channels. This way they can see what players would like to see added in the future.

Dark blues and grays and even gold accents

Did they add different colors for the USA? I didn't see a dark blue yesterday when I checked. It is the only reason I haven't bought one. I did not like the only blue option they had.
